Multi-skilled artists tend to actually be single-skilled artists who dabble in other areas. The fact that Jonathan is equally good in Film and Audio required a website that substantially supported both sides.
The website is a dichotomy of sorts, mixing punk with bold layouts while lacing every corner with charm and sophistication. It’s not too different from Jonathan himself. Exploring the site alone is almost as enjoyable as the stories He tells.
Coming out of a design decade where shadows and textures were overdone in extreme fashion, bringing them back requires a certain finesse that, when done properly, creates an immersive experience. You’ll find touches of this throughout the site, increasing the visual interest and texture.
Each page uses strong visual context, particularly with video, maintaining an important focus on the site content: storytelling. We made it as easy as possible to ingest the videos, whether that was in sequence within a listing, or in more of a theatre-like solo page.
